Cabinet Anatomy

Know the parts that make up a cabinet.

Each cabinet is built around a core support structure called the cabinet box.

The face frame creates the front opening of the cabinet. The ends and back of the box are enclosed by panels. Horizontal shelves support the contents placed inside the box. The bottom shelf is usually fixed, while the upper shelves may be fixed or adjustable. The cabinet is commonly supported by a box frame called a toe kick.

Our cabinets come constructed with 1/2" solid plywood and 3/4" veneered solid plywood adjustable shelves to prevent warping and sagging.

No Loose Hinges

Due to the adjustable hinges, you can install them right the first time within the all wood construction to prevent multiple installs and loose hinges.
