MODEL 85 Series DRUM-KARRIERS

• Transport loaded drums by monorail, crane, or chain block
• Fast, simple manual dumping and dispensing
• Model 85A for standard 55 gallon steel drums
• Model 85A-M with spark resistant parts
• Tilt-lock holds drum in vertical position while moving drum
• Lock at horizontal for draining through a faucet
• Release the locks for hand controlled tilting to any angle
• Drum-Karriers available for various drum sizes

• Adjustable to grip steel or fibre drums
• Rubber faced grip pads are tightened by hand-crank to fit drum diameter

MODEL 195 Series KONTROL-KARRIER

• Karrier with motor driven tilt for below-the-hook applications.
• Available models with single phase, three phase AC motors, or air motor
• Capacity:
  1000 Lb. (454 kg) Full drum
  500 Lb. (227 kg) Half-full drum

• Karrier with battery powered tilt for below-the-hook applications
• Decreases effort and increases productivity
• Has push buttons for 180° controlled tilt
• Tilt function is powered by a rechargeable 12V battery. (Battery and charger provided with unit)

  1,200 Lb. (545 kg) Full 55 gallon steel drums
  600 Lb. (272 kg) Half-full drums
• Drum holder has the same alloy steel cinch chain and ratchet tightener as on Model 185A-HD

• Chain tightening ratchet and spring loaded pawl assembly has oversize, specially contoured teeth and redundant safety features for reliability and ease of use

• New solid steel band drum holder has the Morse name boldly cut through it. This clear marking permanently identifies it as a genuine Morse drum handler

MODEL 185G KONTROL-KARRIER
WITH 3-PIECE SADDLE

• Similar model 185A, but with a different type of holder (three-piece saddle) for the drum
• For use with 55 gallon (210 liter) steel drums only.
• Drum holder in the 185G has hinged metal bands in front of the drum with a clamp closure. This drum holder is suitable for handling the single diameter for which it is designed. It does not accommodate adjustment for a second size.
•  Drum handlers with the three-piece saddle can be made for specific size drums on special order.

• Self-stopping hand crank and gear covers in place of chain wheel. Order with suffix code -X01.
• Hand crank (simple type, not self-stopping) and gear covers in place of chain wheel. Order suffix code -X02
• Hand wheel and gear covers in place of chain wheel. Order suffix code -X03.
• Crank or hand wheel option for 185A-GR does not include gear cover. The gear mechanism for 185A-GR is fully enclosed worm gear type.
• Self-stopping crank is not available for 185A-GR. The worm gear speed reducer of the 185A-GR tends to hold the tilt angle when rotation is stopped
• Optional counterweight for yoke: This simple to attach accessory counterbalances the weight of the tilt gears enabling the unit to hang more plumb from the center lifting eye. Order by part number according to which Kontrol-Karrier it should fit:
• Part number 471-P Counterweight for 185A or 185G
• Part number 481-P Counterweight for 185A-HD or 185A-HDPS
