Morse Model 456
Self-Loading Hydra-Lift Rotator

Morse developed the basic concept to provide easier "Hands-off" drum handling and mixing. The special benefit of mixing materials inside a closed drum without manual effort is now further enhanced.

  • Benefits of mixing inside closed shipping drums
  • Have the machine do the work of loading and unloading itself!
  • Model 456 accepts the drum upright
  • User controls the hydraulic tilting action that puts the drum down on the rotator wheels
  • Second valve allows the user to start and stop hydraulic motor that drives rotation
  • Various size drums with up to 1,000 Lb. (454 kg) of liquid can be rolled at nominal speeds in a range of 5 to 20 RPM
  • Available with a choice of electric motors
  • Also available with air motor as model 456-A

  • Accepts a loaded 55 gallon steel drum from a standing position
  • Moves drum hydraulically to horizontal
  • Rotates the drum until contents are mixed as desired
  • Selector switch and on-off buttons control the motors
  • Single valve controls the hydraulic tilter for positioning the drum on the Rotator

EASY TO LOAD BY HAND TRUCK OR HOIST

  • Morse Model 160 4-wheel drum hand truck provides a simple means to deliver and remove drums
